Three Nepalese labourers were killed and three others injured when a vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and skidded into a gorge near Shichling village in Kaza subdivision of Lahaul and Spiti district on Sunday night.
According to the police, the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into a deep gorge. The deceased have been identified as Sarpu Malha, Tek Bahadur and Vardi Malha, all natives of Nepal.
Kesang, a local resident, and Kalpana and Parvati, both natives of Nepal, were injured.
A case has been registered and investigation was underway to ascertain the actual cause of the accident.
