Cong charge sheet will be based on facts: Ram Lal Thakur

Hamirpur: The Congress party will prepare a charge sheet based on verified facts and submit it to the Governor on December 27.

Hamirpur: The Congress party will prepare a charge sheet based on verified facts and submit it to the Governor on December 27. This was stated by Ram Lal Thakur, chairman of the charge sheet committee of the Congress party, here on Sunday. He said there were serious issues of corruption and other irregularities in one year of the BJP governance in the state. He said the reaction of the CM on the Congress charge sheet was undemocratic. He said the CM was sitting at the helm of affairs and had every opportunity to investigate the charge sheet and if anyone, even from the Congress, is found guilty, he/she should be dealt with the law of the land. He said instead of threatening Opposition leaders, the CM should go through the contents of the charges and investigate these to the satisfaction of all stakeholders, including leaders of the Opposition, and people of the state. He said the BJP government had failed on all fronts and was pushing the state under financial burden by raising loans for buying luxuries for ministers and heads of various bards and corporations. He said crime and law and order situation had deteriorated in the state ever since the BJP assumed power in the state. He said the Congress would ‘gherao’ the government on these issues during the winter session, starting from December 10, in Dharamsala.— OC
