Rajinder Rana, Congress MLA

Dharamsala, December 14

Rajinder Rana, Congress MLA from Sujjanpur, took up the issue of Sainik School in the House here today. He said that the school in Sujjanpur, which has given about 500 senior Army officers to the country, is lying in a state of neglect. The state government was not providing Rs 3.70 crore to the school that it was liable to pay as per the agreement with the management running it. As a result, the school building was not being repaired and is in a bad shape. He said that the school was established in 1977 but land was still to be transferred in its name. Alumni of the school met CM and requested him to help the institute. TNs
