Mandi, February 7

As weather became pleasant in the Manali region, tourists thronged Nehru Kund to enjoy snow activities today. Some tourists also rushed to Solang to enjoy the panoramic view of the valley. The Manali region has been draped in white blanket for the past few days after fresh snowfall.

The Public Works Department (PWD) and the Border Roads Organisation have engaged their workforce in Kullu and Lahaul and Spiti to restore the blocked roads. Several link roads in rural areas of Kullu and Lahaul and Spiti were blocked after heavy snowfall.

Lahaul and Spiti Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar and Kullu Deputy Commissioner Torul S Ravish had directed the PWD authorities to expedite the restoration work of roads in their districts.
