Events spread awareness on cleanliness

Phagwara, January 20

The NSS department of MLU DAV College, Phagwara, organised poster making, slogan writing and speech delivering competitions on cleanliness in the college hall here today.

Students said: “Cleanliness is a habit of being clean and free from dirt. We should understand and make others understand that cleanliness is not someone else responsibility, rather it is our own duty to make the surroundings clean.”

Participants further stated that cleanliness should commence from our home itself and schools, colleges, and different organisations. It is the greatest virtue which should be followed by every individual to enhance his standard of life.

“There are many positive effects of cleanliness on the environment and also on our body. It keeps the diseases and infections away from us and helps in living a clean and beautiful life,”added the students.— OC
