A farewell party was organised at S. Government College of Science Education and Research, Jagraon, on Wednesday to bid farewell to the outgoing class of M.Sc. (Chemistry). The programme commenced with Director Kirpal Kaur’s speech. She enlightened the students with her inspirational words and extended her best wishes to them for their bright future. Students presented cultural programme like fun games, dances and songs. The title of Miss Farewell and Mr Farewell went to Jagreet Kaur and Rakesh Garg of B.Sc. final, respectively.

World Environment week celebrated

World Environment Week was celebrated at Gulzar Group of Institutes to create awareness among students and faculty about the benefits of neat and green environment in our lives. NCC students drew posters on the theme of save environment and encourage people to be kind and show affection towards environment. Students also delivered speech on environment to spread message to the world to be healthy. Unit 19 PB BN NCC LDH, Commanding Officer Colonel DK Singh said at the moment that conservation and protection of environment is our responsibility, and we must fulfil our responsibility dedicatedly.

Parent-teacher meeting held

The Parent Teacher Association of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management conducted a Parent Teacher Meet (PTM) and Parents Principal Meet (PPM). The objective was to apprise the parents about the academic performance of their wards. Principal Prof Vishal Kumar addressed the parents and shared that the institution believes in the holistic development and integral education of the students.
