Ludhiana MC removes 15 encroachments

Ludhiana, February 14

The Municipal Corporation removed around 15 encroachments on banks of the Buddha Nullah on Wednesday. Officials said the encroachments were hindering the project to construct the road along the nullah. These were removed from the stretch, starting from Chander Nagar puli to Kundanpuri puli.

The officials said demarcation of remaining encroachments was also underway and the same would also be removed in days to come.

Earlier, in the morning, a meeting was held to discuss the issue of encroachments along the nullah and the road construction work. MC Commissioner Sandeep Rishi issued instructions to officials for the removal of the encroachments.
