The workers of SAD (A) today held a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner office to mourn the death of protesting farmer Shubhkaran Singh. They presented a memorandum to the DC demanding the registration of a case against officials of the Haryana Police responsible for the farmer’s death.

The district president of SAD (A), Shingara Singh, said the Central and state governments are committing atrocities against the peacefully protesting farmers, adding that they threw teargas shells and bullets, which have resulted in the death of a young farmer and have inflicted injuries on many more. “We fully support the farmers and their legitimate demands. Such atrocities would not be tolerated.
