Patiala, April 17

The Patiala police have arrested a 19-year-old labourer and recovered a stolen mobile phone and a bike from him. The accused has been identified as Deepak Singh, a resident of Vikas Nagar.

Deepak has been accused of committing theft at a mobile shop on the Behra road near Anardana Chowk on the intervening night of April 3 and 4.

The complainant, Amandeep Singh, had reported theft of a Nokia mobile phone, Google Alexa, three AirPods, an Apple watch and Rs10,000 from his shop.

The police informed that the accused had been also booked for stealing a bike, last year. — TNS
