SAD leader Satbir Singh Khatra, 38, the son of former IPS officer RS Khatra, today quit politics. He was made the party’s halqa in-charge of Patiala rural early in 2017. The SAD has not yet named any candidate from Patiala rural.
Khatra said he took the decision as he was perturbed over allegations by certain sections that the probe conducted by his father in sacrilege cases was botched. — TNS
