Moga, January 20

Moga Additional District and Sessions Judge Anjana today sentenced a youth to five years of imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs60,000 on him for sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl of her community.

The Bihari migrant girl was sexually assaulted by a youth of her community at Badhni Kalan village here on July 8, 2018.

The accused was later identified as Bablu Singh, a resident of Kanoli village of Bihar.

Meanwhile, the Dhuri police have arrested a local resident, Ram Singh, for allegedly sexually harassing an eight year-old girl. They are conducting further investigations.
