Efforts on to provide residential facilities to CRPF personnel: DG

SONEPAT: Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar, Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), said that the efforts were being made to provide maximum family residential facilities in the group centres to the serving personnel of the force so that they could perform their duties without any tension and worry even in the sensitive areas in the country.

Sonepat, December 18

Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar, Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), said that the efforts were being made to provide maximum family residential facilities in the group centres to the serving personnel of the force so that they could perform their duties without any tension and worry even in the sensitive areas in the country.

He was addressing the CRPF personnel and their family members after inaugurating a residential family complex of 358 houses at the CRPF Group Centre in Khewra village in the district on Tuesday.

He said that the family residential facilities equipped with necessary facilities of health and education was the need of the hour as most of the force personnel were being posted in the sensitive areas like Jammu and Kashmir, Northeast states, Naxal affected Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Orrisa where they had to face unfavorable situations.

Onkar Singh, DIG of the Group Centre, informed that the centre was opened in 2010 and every kinds of facilities were being provided in the centre which was located on a prime location near Delhi and Sonepat town, a hub of education facilities.
