Vehicle thieves’ gang busted, 5 bikes seized

Tarn Taran, March 6

A three-member gang of vehicle lifters was busted by the Chabal police on Friday. The police said one of the gang members Sarabjit Singh, a resident of Sursingh village, was arrested with a stolen bike of Friday in the area.

Four more stolen bikes were seized on the information given by the accused in the preliminary investigation. The accused said he had his two more associates namely Lakhwindr Singh and Angrej Singh of the same Sursingh village. The gang members have been booked under Sections 379 and 411 of the IPC.
