3 women held for immoral trafficking

AMRITSAR: The police have arrested three women for their alleged involvement in a flesh trade racket. They were arrested following a tip-off.

The police have arrested three women for their alleged involvement in a flesh trade racket.

They were arrested following a tip-off.

Vavinder Mahajan, in charge of the CIA staff, said, “The police had received a tip-off that three women living in the Laxmi Vihar area were involved in prostitution. Therefore, a raid was conducted and they were arrested.”

A case under Sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Immoral Trafficking Act has been registered against them.

He said further investigations were under way.
