AMRITSAR: In yet another incident, three unknown armed robbers stole a car from a mobile phone trader when he was returning home.

In yet another incident, three unknown armed robbers stole a car from a mobile phone trader when he was returning home.

Dilsher Singh, the victim, runs a mobile phone shop at Liberty Market on Railway Link Road and lives in the Verka area. He said at around 8.30 pm, he closed down his shop and was returning home. He stated that as he reached close to his residence, a Maruti Suzuki Swift car came from behind and hit his car, which he had bought recently.

He said as he came out of the vehicle to examine the damage to his car, the three accused attacked him. They fired a few gun shots. Out of the three, two youths entered their car and fled while the third accused fled in his car. — TNS
