Earth Science Olympiad test on January 19

Amritsar, January 15

The Geological Society of India has setup a center for International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO)-2019 at Guru Nanak Dev University.

Centre in-charge Prof Avinash Kaur Nagpal said, “The test will commence in the university lecture theatre complex on January 19 at 10.30 am.”

Students studying in classes IX, X and XI can appear in the examination. Top 30 students will be selected for 25 days training camp in May 2019. The Indian National Earth Science Olympiad will be held at the end of the camp. The top four students will represent India at the 13th IESO in Daegu, South Korea.—TNS
