Mobile seized

Amritsar: The staff at the Central Jail have seized a mobile phone from a jail inmate, Ranjit Singh, of Bhojara village in Tarn Taran. Assistant Superintendent (Jail) Avtar Singh stated that during the routine checking, the jail staff found the accused possessing a mobile phone. TNS

Car stolen

Amritsar: Unidentified miscreants stole a car parked outside a marriage palace in Maqboolpura. Paramjit Singh, owner of the car, stated that he had gone to attend a function at Vistle Villa in his i20 car. When he came out, he found his vehicle missing from the parking. TNS
