The police have booked unidentified persons for allegedly kidnapping a married woman.

Family members of the victim lodged the complaint with the police after they failed to find her.

Victim’s husband Piara Singh, a resident of Sarwan road area in Ajnala, told the police that his wife Narinder Kaur had gone out of the house to purchase household items when she was abducted.

He said his wife called from her mobile phone to her son-in-law Gurinder Singh and she told him that she was kidnapped. The complainant said she told her son-in-law that she was sitting inside a car while the suspects were standing outside and talking to each other.
