AAP holds roadshow in Bathinda (rural)

Supporters and members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today took out an impressive road show in Bathinda (rural) constituency. The show was headed by Bathinda (rural) candidate Master Jagsir Singh. The show was started from Goniana Mandi, which passed through Kotli Ablu, Mehma Sarja, Mehma Sawai, Blahar Vinju, Dan Singhwala, Jeeda, Jandawala, Nathana, Puhla, Lehra Bega, Lehra Mohabbat, Lehra Khana, Chak Bakhtu, Chak Fateh Singhwala and other villages of the region.

The supporters said they passed through 28-30 villages. The road show, which as per the claims of AAP workers had 7,000 to 8,000 people concluded in Bhucho Mandi.

AAP candidate Master Jagsir Singh said the gathering was a show of strength of a common man. Residents, who were upset with traffic snarls, said many vehicles had violated the traffic norms which should not had been allowed by the police. They demanded that strict action must be taken against all violators in view of the rising number of road deaths in Punjab. They also said the traffic police must strcitly manage the roads during such road shows.
