Malout, June 11

AAP leaders on Monday handed over a bottle of contaminated water to Deputy Speaker and MLA from Malout, Ajaib Singh Bhatti, at his residence in Bathinda, and demanded action of the state government in this regard.

The AAP leaders said the dirty water was causing diseases among residents, but the state government was not taking action.

AAP leaders are handing over bottles of contaminated water to all MLAs in the state.

A delegation of their party on Sunday went to handover a bottle to former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, who is MLA from Lambi, but the latter had sent a representative at Badal village, citing reason of his poor health.

Earlier, AAP supporters from Muktsar, under the leadership of Kaka Brar, had handed over a bottle of contaminated water to Muktsar MLA Kanwarjit Singh ‘Rozy Barkandi’ at the latter’s residence.
