SAD leader Sarup Chand Singla convened a meeting with party leaders and councillors at the party office here today.

During the meeting, he discussed the party’s new membership drive.

While addressing the party leaders and workers, Singla said, “We need to work for strengthening the party. People are fed up with the Congress government in the state as it has failed to fulfil its pre-poll promises. The Congress government has also stopped welfare schemes initiated by the SAD-BJP government.”

Singla added, “If any SAD worker is harassed by the Congress government, the party will strongly oppose it. The new membership drive of the SAD has started in the state.”

Mayor Balwant Rai Nath, SGPC member Joginder Kaur, SAD city’s women wing president Balwinder Kaur, SAD city president Sudhir Bansal, press secretary Dr Om Parkash Sharma, Harmander Singh and Nirmal Sandhu were present at the meeting.
