‘Addict’ dies at hospital

Bathinda: A young girl, who was apparently hooked to drugs, died at a government hospital here on Tuesday. According a release issued by an NGO, Sahara, the victim, identified as Jyoti, was found in unconscious state at Bathinda Growth Centre. Thereafter, she was admitted to the emergency ward of the hospital. She had been undergoing treatment for the past couple of days. She will be cremated by the NGO as the girl didn’t have any family here, stated the release. TNS
