Special train to Vaishno Devi shrine

For the convenience of pilgrims and other passengers, the Northern Railway would run a special train (04409/10) between Delhi Junction and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on September 20 and 21 from Delhi Jn. The train would make return trips from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Delhi Jn on September 22 and 23.

According to railway officials, the 04409 Delhi Jn-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Special train would leave Delhi Jn at 9.10 pm and reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11.30 am the next day. On its return trip, the 04410 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Delhi Jn Special Express train would leave at 1.30 pm and reach Delhi Jn at 3 am.

With AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, sleeper and general accommodation, the train would have commercial halts at Panipat, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi and Udhampur.
