BATHINDA: Two candidates on Tuesday filed their nomination papers from the Bathinda Lok Sabha seat.

Bathinda, April 23

Two candidates on Tuesday filed their nomination papers from the Bathinda Lok Sabha seat.

District Election Officer B Srinivasan said on the second day, Jaswant Singh, associated with the Freedom Fighter Uttar Adhikari Organisation, and Bhagwant Singh Samao of the CPI (ML) filed their nomination papers.

Congress candidate Amrinder Singh Raja Warring is expected to file his nomination papers on April 25. The Chief Minister will accompany him.

PDA candidate Sukhpal Singh Khaira will file his nomination papers on April 26. The last date of filing nomination papers is April 29 and scrutiny of papers will be done on April 30. The deadline of withdrawing nomination papers is May 2. — TNS
