Two more snatchings reported

BATHINDA: Two more snatching incidents were reported in the city on Tuesday night.

Two more snatching incidents were reported in the city on Tuesday night. In the first incident, a purse was snatched from a woman while in the other, a mobile phone was snatched from a youth.

After getting information, the police reached the spot and registered the statement of the victims. The police have failed to get any clue yet.

In a complaint lodged by Ankur Garg, it has been stated that around 9 pm, two unidentified motorcycle-borne persons snatched the purse from her wife near Hotel Sagar located at Mall Road and fled from the spot.

He said as it was dark, they were not able to note down the registration number of the motorcycle.

In the second case, Lovepreet Singh has stated that two persons in a car snatched a mobile phone from him near Big Cinemas Mall and post office and fled from the spot.

The Civil Lines police reached the spot and started a probe into the incident.
