New Delhi, May 30
Microsoft’s focus on India is to empower every citizen and organisation so that they can perform better than their potential and achieve more for themselves and the country, the US giant’s chief executive Satya Nadella said here on Monday.
He was addressing the ‘Technology for good, Ideas for India’ conference organised by Microsoft.
He met developers, as also entrepreneurs and students before the event.
Nadella also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Communications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Referring to transformation, Nadella added: “When you change the way you see the world, you change the world you see. And I think that’s what all of you are going to do.” “And the reason I invoke this rich canvas is to really invoke your ambition to how you will shape the world.” However, analysts are yet to figure out a clear roadmap from Microsoft regarding empowering Indian citizens. — IANS
