300 take fitness walk at Sukhna Lake

CHANDIGARH: Pinkathon Day was celebrated at Sukhna Lake at 6 am with an aim to promote a healthy lifestyle among women.

Pinkathon Day was celebrated at Sukhna Lake at 6 am with an aim to promote a healthy lifestyle among women.

A 5-km run was flagged off by 102-year-old Man Kaur. She asked women to eat well, run and exercise. As many as 300 women participated in the event.

The day was observed in 63 cities at 130 locations and six countries. It was a brainchild of Milind Soman.

The participants were honoured with medals after the completion of the marathon by city ambassador Neeru Saini.
