CHANDIGARH: The police have arrested a burglar and recovered two stolen iPhones and other items from him.

Chandigarh, April 23

The police have arrested a burglar and recovered two stolen iPhones and other items from him. Inderjit Singh (33), a resident of Dashmesh Nagar, Nayagaon, was nabbed in two cases of burglaries.

In a complaint lodged with the police, Jaswinder Kaur Sethi, a resident of Sector 38-B, stated that she was a permanent resident of Canada and on her return to Chandigarh yesterday, she found taps/mixtures stolen from the first floor of her house.

A police team, led by head Constable Kirandeep, got some clues. The police stopped Inderjit Singh, who was roaming near the 36/37 light point, and on a search of his carry bag, water taps/mixtures were recovered.

He also disclosed about a theft committed at another house in Sector 38-B on April 4. Stolen articles, including an iPhone 4S, an iPhone 6S and an I-pad, were recovered from him. The police said the suspect was a graduate and a drug addict. — TNS
