Another woman drugged, raped

A 26-year-old woman was allegedly drugged and raped by a Sector 20 resident.

On a complaint of the victim, a resident of Baltana, an FIR was lodged in this regard at the women police station, Sector 5, Panchkula.

The complainant submitted that the accused, Vishal, took her to his residence in Sector 20, Panchkula. There, the accused spiked her cold drink with sedatives and raped her. The accused threatened her with dire consequences if she approached the police, she said. —TNS
