The special investigation team (SIT) of the Haryana Police have arrested CP Arora, chief executive officer (CEO) of MSG All-Trading International Pvt Ltd, a Dera Sacha Sauda firm, in connection with the conspiracy to incite violence that erupted following the conviction of dera head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a rape case on August 25.

According to the police, Arora, a close aide of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and dera spokesperson Aditya Insan, was present at the meeting held on August 17 at the dera headquarter in Sirsa,  in which the conspiracy of the Panchklua violence was hatched.

Arora, who is a chartered accountant, was allegedly present in the meeting, along with Honeypreet, adopted daughter of the dera chief.

Police Commissioner AS Chawla said Arora was produced in the local court and sent to six-day police remand. The police will try to get details of absconding Aditya Insan as Arora was a close friend of his, he said.
