CHANDIGARH:Hosts Dev Samaj College Academy, Sector 45, defeated Government Girls Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 18, by 37 runs in the opening match of the Senior State Cricket Championship.

Hosts Dev Samaj College Academy, Sector 45, defeated Government Girls Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 18, by 37 runs in the opening match of the Senior State Cricket Championship. Batting first, the hosts posted 122/3 in 20 overs. In reply, the Sector-18 outfit scored 85/4 in their allotted 20 overs. 

West Zone bag three points 

West Zone bagged three points by playing out a draw with East Zone in the ongoing U-19 cricket tournament. In reply to the East Zone's first innings total of 178 runs, West Zone scored 219. In their second innings, East Zone were 87/5 in 24 overs at stumps. —TNS
