Around 70 doctors from across the country and abroad attended the two-day scientific programme. Experts said the techniques would help shorten the learning curve and minimise complications when used real time. The two-day conference was inaugurated by GMCH-32 Director-Principal BS Chavan along with Maj Gen Rashmi Dutta, Commandant, Command Hospital, Western Command, Chandimandir. Vivek Attray, a retired IAS officer, and Dr OP Kande, member, Punjab Medical Council, were also present. — TNS
