CHANDIGARH:In a hit-and-run, a 28-year-old youth was killed after the motorcycle he was riding triple along with his friends was hit by a speeding Innova on the road separating Sectors 14 and 15 on Friday night.

Chandigarh, April 20

In a hit-and-run, a 28-year-old youth was killed after the motorcycle he was riding triple along with his friends was hit by a speeding Innova on the road separating Sectors 14 and 15 on Friday night.

The victim has been identified as Jaspreet Sharma, a delivery man with an online food delivery company. His two friends too suffered injuries in the mishap and were rushed to the PGIMER. 

The victims, who were without helmet, were going from Nayagaon to Kharar when the accident took place. A case has been registered against the unidentified car driver at the Sector 11 police station. —TNS
