CHANDIGARH: Kartikeya overpowered Hriday 5-1 to win the boys U-14 category final on the concluding day of the Sunrise Open Tennis Tournament at the Chandigarh Club, Sector 1.

Kartikeya overpowered Hriday 5-1 to win the boys U-14 category final on the concluding day of the Sunrise Open Tennis Tournament at the Chandigarh Club, Sector 1.

In the semifinals, Hriday beat Gurpuneet 4-2 and Kartikeya defeated Sankalp 4-2. Daksh registered a 5-1 win over Anuj to win the boys U-12 category final. In semis, Daksh overpowered Hriday 4-0, while Anuj defeated Yogesh 4-3(4). 

In the boys U-16 category final, Suwaib defeated Kartikeya 5-1. He blanked Kamal 4-0 to set up the title clash with Kartikeya, who defeated Gurinder 4-2.

In the girls U-12 category final, Ayushi Prajapat overpowered Antara 5-4 (4). In the semifinals, Khushi defeated Kashvi 4-1, while Vanshika defeated Ayushi 4-2. Jaskirat won the combined U-10 category title by registering a 6-2 win over Kabir. In semis, Kabir defeated Ansh 4-1 and Jaskirat overpowered Ishant 4-0.
