Comedy play ‘Baap re Baap’ was staged by the Rangsheersh Art and Culture Society, Jaipur, during the ongoing ‘Hasya Natya Mahotasav’ at Tagore Theatre here today.

Written by Padma Shri awardee KP Saxena and directed by Dinesh Pardhaan, the play was a satire on the institution of joint family. A family patriarch leaves the house due to the rude behaviour of his children. His son then files a police complaint. The act was intermingled with light and comic moments.

Three-day festival concludes

The three-day literary festival, commemorating the contribution of celestial thespian Gursharan Singh, organised by the Punjab Sangeet Natak akademi (PSNA) concluded with the immaculate staging of a solo act play, ‘Samman Wali Daang’ by the Adakar at Randhawa Auditorium here today.
