A new song of the UT Traffic Police ASI to sensitise people to wrong parking in the city has received appreciation from renowned singer Daler Mehndi, who tweeted a video of the cop singing the song outside a market.

The policeman, Bhupinder Singh, has used the music and lyrics of Mehndi’s famous song “Bolo Tara Ra Ra”. Bhupinder has come up with his song at the right time. Since the festive season is round the corner, rush in the markets will lead to parking issues.

A video of Bhupinder singing the song opposite the Sector 19 market has gone viral. It reached singer Daler Mehndi who tweeted the video and stated: “I am glad that my music is used by the Traffic Police to inspire people to follow rules’. In the past, he has penned down several songs on various issues, including drunken driving and road safety. Bhupinder said his efforts were to spread awareness through songs, which catch everyone’s attention. “People listen to music and surely learn something from it,” he said.
