CHANDIGARH:The officers and staff of Central Goods and Service Tax (CGST) comprising Chandigarh and Panchkula zones celebrated the second anniversary of launch of GST in Chandigarh today.

The officers and staff of Central Goods and Service Tax (CGST) comprising Chandigarh and Panchkula zones celebrated the second anniversary of launch of GST in Chandigarh today. 

The function was presided over by Anil Kumar Jain, chief commissioner, Central Goods and Services Tax Zone, Chandigarh and Haryana zone. The chief commissioner distributed commendation certificates to 30 departmental officers who made special contribution in the success of GST Implementation. He said the focus of the government was on addressing the grievances of the citizens, including through IT-based grievance redressal mechanism. KJ Chaudhary, former chief commissioner, Chandigarh , was the guest of honour. — TNS
