Patiala win U-15 state wrestling meet

Patiala: Patiala claimed the overall trophy in the Punjab State Wrestling Championship at Zirakpur. Patiala won four gold, two silver and one bronze in the boys U-15 category.

Patiala, May 27

Patiala claimed the overall trophy in the Punjab State Wrestling Championship at Zirakpur. Patiala won four gold, two silver and one bronze in the boys U-15 category. 

Punjab Institute of Sports, Mohali, finished second and Jalandhar finished third. Out of the total 10 weight categories, Patiala finished first in four categories - 48kg, 62kg, 75kg, and 85kg. The winners of the competition will take part in the national championship in Meerut from May 15 to 17.
