Nearly 1,000 policemen will keep a close vigil in and around the Indian School of Business, the venue of the two-day Progressive Punjab Investors Summit starting from December 5 at Sector 81 here.

Talking about the security arrangements, Mohali Superintendent of Police (City-1), Harvinder Singh Virk, said five officers of the SP rank and 20 officers of the DSP rank had been deputed to supervise security arrangements here. “Under these officers, 40 inspectors and 200 sub-inspectors and around 1,000 police personnel will remain on duty round-the-clock,” Virk said.
