Talib rallies to beat Hassan in carrom final

CHANDIGARH:Mohammad Talib rallied from a game down to beat defending champion Mohammad Hassan to win the men’s singles title on the concluding day of the 29th Chandigarh State Carrom Tournament at St Stephen’s School, Sector 45, here today.

Mohammad Talib rallied from a game down to beat defending champion Mohammad Hassan to win the men’s singles title on the concluding day of the 29th Chandigarh State Carrom Tournament at St Stephen’s School, Sector 45, here today. Talib won the final 21-25 25-10 23-10.

Earlier in the semifinals, Talib received a walkover against Mazhar Khan, while Hassan defeated Paras Arora 23-10 25-1. 

In the women’s singles summit clash, Tuba Sehar registered a facile 25-1 25-0 win over  Farhin to claim the title.
