Tempo driver robbed of money at knife-point

Chandigarh: A tempo driver was robbed of Rs 1,000 and a mobile phone at knife-point near Teen Colony in Sector 52.



Chandigarh, September 25 

A tempo driver was robbed of Rs 1,000 and a mobile phone at knife-point near Teen Colony in Sector 52. Two persons, Choti and Sunil both residents of Sector 52, have been arrested in connection with the case. Complainant Shiv Shankar, a resident of Dhanas, reported that he, along with his younger brother Shambhu, had gone to supply eggs at Teen Colony when a few youths, including Choti, alias Ricky, Sunil, alias Ganga, and others robbed him. A case has been registered. — TNS
