Two-day ‘LPS Business Conclave 17’ begins today

CHANDIGARH: In a first-of-its-kind initiative to enhance creative potentials of young business minds and unleash their innovative, entrepreneurial and business acumen, Learning Paths School, Mohali, in collaboration with Ashoka University, Sonipat, Haryana, is organising the first edition of the ‘LPS Business Conclave 17’, an annual inter-school business congregation, on November 24 and 25 on its campus.

In a first-of-its-kind initiative to enhance creative potentials of young business minds and unleash their innovative, entrepreneurial and business acumen, Learning Paths School, Mohali, in collaboration with Ashoka University, Sonipat, Haryana, is organising the first edition of the ‘LPS Business Conclave 17’, an annual inter-school business congregation, on November 24 and 25 on its campus. The Tribune is the media partner for the event.

Under the initiative, students from various schools across the northern region will compete in a variety of challenging business events such as business quiz, business plan challenge, business strategy game, paper presentation, consumer awareness skit, commercial ad videos, poster-making and work readiness skills.

Workshops emphasising on knowledge of professional world, workplace and work readiness will also be conducted by the faculty of Ashoka University on entrepreneurship, where students will obtain exposure about business.

“With an aim to provide a liberal education at par best in the world, the initiative is towards making students well-rounded individuals, who can think critically about issues from multiple perspectives, communicate effectively and become leaders,” said Robin Aggarwal, director Learning Paths School.

From brainstorming sessions to brain-teasing quiz and creative thinking to critical thinking, the two-day conclave will provide an opportunity to get exposure to the real business world and exchange ideas, knowledge and skills with fellow competitors and eminent corporate personalities.

The conclave will witness various brainstorming events quizzes and creative thinking sessions themed on health, environment food wastage and business social responsibility.
