The Crime Branch mystified by sheer number of bodies found in a house in Sant Nagar, Burari, where 11 members of a family, including seven women, were found dead under mysterious circumstances.

The senior ranked officers of the investigative agency today held a closed door meeting at the Delhi Police headquarters regarding the ongoing investigation. As per a senior officer, over 150 police personnel have been roped in the investigation.

The agency leaving no stone unturned went to the shop from which one of the family members had bought things like divine stole and "dupattas" used to cover eyes and mouth to commit suicide. One of the "dupattas" was recovered from Bhuvnesh's neck as all the articles were bought from one shop. The cloth, which was wrapped around Bhuvensh's neck was identified by the woman owner of the shop who told officials that around 10 days ago, a woman wearing spectacles from the Chundawat family (Neetu),  had come to shop and bought two "dupattas".

When the officials asked the woman to identify the "dupatta", she identified the maroon colour one wrapped around Bhuvnesh's face.

The agency further went to BK Shoe shop owner Mahender Pal, he told the agency that on June 30, Neetu and two children (Shivam and Dhruv) visited his shop around 8 pm and bought two pairs of shoes and paid Rs 800 and the woman gave Rs 500 and told the shop owner that rest Rs 300 she will give the next day.

But the same night, the whole family committed suicide. In the CCTV camera footage, the three persons are clearly visible taking the things. According to the officer, the footage is proving to be very important evidence in the case.

Ten bodies were found hanging and blindfolded, while the body of Narayana Devi (77) was found on the floor. Two of the deceased were minors.
