Two men have been arrested for allegedly stalking and eve teasing a 14-year-old girl who had approached the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) for help. An FIR registered under POCSO Act.
An official of the DCW said, the girl was on her way back home from the market located in Palam village when the incident took place.
“Two men started stalking and tracing her from the market. They allegedly passed abusive remarks and eve teased her at a secluded place,” a DCW official said.
“The girl called her sister and narrated the incident to her. The men allegedly hit her sister when she came for her rescue,” said the official.
The complainant has also alleged that they had dialled police helpline and waited for a PCR for four hours, but did not receive any help. Following which they called the DCW helpline 181.
