SAD (D) to protest near DSGMC office against sexual harassment

New Delhi, May 21

Harmeet Kaur, who works as sewadarni at Gurdwara Nanak Piao got registered a case of sexual harassment against co-employee Bhupinder Singh. This is second case of crime against woman within a few weeks.

The first case was registered against general manager of the DSGMC administration Harjeet Singh. He was suspended from the services following the case was registered with the police. But, the DSGMC reinstated him following a report was submitted by a committee constituted by the DSGMC president, Manjit Singh (GK) for looking into the matter.

In the FIR Harmeet said that she reported the matter to the staff in-charge Balbir Singh and chairman Harvinder Singh KP.  When no action was taken against the suspect she reported the matter to the police.

The SAD (Delhi) led by Sarna brothers announced to stage a protest tomorrow near the DSGMC office on the allegation. — TNS
