1,800 blue cards given to Issru block residents

KHANNA: Ranjit Singh Talwandi, Akali Dal candidate from Khanna constituency, today distributed around 1,800 blue cards to the residents of various villages of Issru block.

Ranjit Singh Talwandi, Akali Dal candidate from Khanna constituency, today distributed around 1,800 blue cards to the residents of various villages of Issru block.

Talwandi said the state government had launched a number of welfare schemes and the blue cards were a boon for the poor.

He said the Congress and AAP had no agenda for the people and only the Akali Dal-BJP government could work for the welfare of the state.

Talwandi said special camps were organised in villages, including Nasrali, Issru, Issru Khurd, Kotla Dhak, Faizgarh, Kamma, Rasulra, and around 1,800 blue cards were distributed among the needy.

Gurbakhash Singh Biza, Chairman, Khanna Market Committee, Jeet Singh Alour, Inderpal Singh Kamalpura and some other Akali Dal leaders were present.
