17-yr-old boy commits suicide

Kangra, February 16

A 17-year-old boy of Bangani village here reportedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance.

The police said the mother of the boy, Vishal, had asked him to study before leaving for the fields. When his sister went to check on him, she saw him vomiting. He was rushed to Tanda medical college, where he died last night. The body was handed over to the family after postmortem. No suicide note was recovered form his room.— OC
