Mohali, January 18
A total of 53 candidates have filed their nominations from three Assembly constituencies of Mohali district.
On the final of filing nominations, Mohali and Kharar constituencies saw nine nominations each while in Dera Bassi, eight candidates filed their papers.
District Electoral Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner DS Mangat said, “Now from Mohali, we have a total of 23 candidates while as many as 14 candidates filed their nomination papers from Kharar. For the Dera Bassi constituency, the number of candidates is 16.”
