All set for Shivratri Fair

MANDI: Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kadam said the district administration was all set to host the week-long Shivratri Fair beginning from February 25.

Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kadam said the district administration was all set to host the week-long Shivratri Fair beginning from February 25.

“Arrangements have been made for the stay of deities during the fair,” he said.

Kadam said Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh would inaugurate the event on February 25 and a procession of deities would be taken out. Governor Acharya Devvrat will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony on March 2.

“As many as 1,200 police personnel will be deployed in the town,” he said.— TNS
