Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh today lashed out at former Union Minister Manohar Singh Gill for criticising the party decision to appoint Kamal Nath as the general secretary incharge of Punjab.

“It only shows the ingratitude and frustration of a man just because the party did not re-nominate him to the Rajya Sabha for the third time after giving him two terms and also making him the Cabinet Minister, without having any contribution towards the party,” Capt Amarinder said, while asking if he (Gill) really believed that Kamal Nath was guilty of 1984 riots why did he keep quiet all these years.
